It was full of the awesome.
I enjoyed every venue I played, and heard stories of awesomeness from the venues I didn't play.
I knew my Lost was built for social combat, but that is ridiculous, and I feel dirty.
I got to be Akuete, the information superhighway in Requiem, which I haven't been able to do for nearly a year. It was awesome. Chevaling people you don't know and throwing them at plot is amazingly fun.
I made the STs laugh in Forsaken with a 7 success fastball special. Noone expects a tiny girl to have a PU 7 combat monster rahu in pigtails.
I accidentally slept through Mage. sad panda.
I avoided as much ooc drama as possible, enjoyed feeding the STs, had acolyte and lance booze taste-testers (go Crystal!), and had an amazing time, especially as I got to cuddle a hot Canadian every night.
Also, ANST Triplet confirmed that I wasn't allowed to destroy the world, and I succeeded in confusing the crap out of Jesse.

Hey Mule, this is for you.
Orange Cider
Serving Size 1 Coffee Mug (the 8-10 oz kind, not the huge ones.)
Ingrediants:
1/2 gallon pulp free OJ (if you can get low acid pulp free, even better)
3 bags plain black tea (no Earl Grey, no English Breakfast, plain black tea)
3 bags Mint tea (decaff is the most common)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves (ground or whole)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon chili powder or cayenne pepper
Mix all spices and OJ together in big boiler pot.
Heat on stovetop to simmering over medium heat (bring it up slowly folks, do not use high heat)
The smell will change slowly the closer it is to simmering.
Once the OJ is hot, add the 6 tea bags. Be careful not to to stir too roughly, you don't want them to break.
It can take between 15 and 20 minutes for the Orange Cider to come to a simmer, sometimes more or less, depending on what your pressure is.
The resulting concoction will be thicker than regular OJ, caffeinated, very low acid, clear out your sinuses, and blast your immune system with amazing vitamins and immune boosty stuff.
For an extra kick, drop a lemon-lime airborne in it.
Serve steamy hot. Slurp mightily.
Refrigerates well, can be stored in a plastic kool-aid pitcher. Do not store in metal. Shake or stir after, as it has a tendency to settle. Microwave until hot, usually 2 minutes.
Can be made with Apple juice (use 3 reserve apple cider style apple juice if you must, but it's not nearly as good as the OJ). |

Today was a good day, spent with Kevin and Iria.
Had breakfast at IHOP, was tasty. Shot the shit. Took lots of drugs for continuing migraine.
Went to Iria's. BSed more.
Went swimming. Swam until the pool was COVERED IN BEES! Note: Swarms are scary. Escaped swarm, went inside, decided to stay inside for a while.
Went to hookah lounge, pondered seeing Kung Fu Panda, decided against it.
Went home, played scrabble (with Quality!).
Watched Tokyo Drift and swooned over cars.
Now at home, about to go to bed.
I call it a very very good day. :~) |

Name concepts: Knights of the Aos Si, Knights of the Dark Heart, Aos Si Concordiat, and of course, just Aos Si.
Aos sí - "ess shee", meaning 'people of the mounds' or 'those who live underground'.
Those who manifest the dark aspects of Desire; gluttony, greed, lust.
Our desires live in the deepest recesses of human emotion, buried in the underground of the human heart. So we find a place among our court, the Court of Desire. But ours does not have a legitimate place amongst their revels. They are afraid of the very Desires they profess to feed from. We searched for others who share our outlook, and thus we found each other, and founded our 'Knighthood'.

After a crappy day of not getting the job I wanted, I came home to this:
ST: Gillian, sometimes, when dealing with other people in the cam, it makes me forget that I haven't told you lately, that I love you
ST: In a purely ST to player sorta way ;)
which was very sweet, and made me cry for 5 minutes (yeah, it was kinda a stressful day). It was not a bed cry, more like one of those "need to get it out" emotional releases.
But it got me thinking. STs; When's the last time you thanked your players? Players; When's the last time you thanked your STs?
Take a moment, think of someone who has made your job (as an ST or a player) easier/better/worth it, and just send them a thank you. It takes 2 minutes, and is an amazing way to let them know they are appreciated. |

4-5 inches long. squirmy furry mewling little blind critter. Eyes shut. Can't walk. Could only crawl. but loud. Something so small, heard clearly a block away. strong little legs, crawling toward the questioning mrrr? onto the sidewalk.
Kitten. So damn tiny! So cute! So young... I saw mommy, and asking if this one was hers. She bolted. Poop. take kitten, warm it up a little, take off all Akuete jewelery so I could look for mom without making scary clattering noises.
See mommy. place kitten 10 feet from mommy and go back inside. 15 minutes later, kitten and mommy gone. So either it got eaten, or mommy and kitten were reunited.
